Surroundings

  Tonight the difference burns so clear,
  This lonely life is insincere,
  And I should end it now and here,
  In the forests of the night.
  A separation leaves me sad,
  I know I shouldn’t feel so bad,
  But bad experience I’ve had,
  On the cliffs of dazzling height.
  My surroundings leave me bare,
  And no one else could lead me there,
  Through the shadows of despair,
  In deep dark cave devoid of light.
  The wings of joy would help me fly,
But without love I know I’d die,
And deep in hell you know I’ll fry,
Here in a field of golden sight.
To find my self alone again,
With memories of there and then,
And bathe in tears my soul to mend,
Tears for one that has the right.
