Ecstatic as I read her words,
My heart begins to glow,
A purest joy has formed inside,
It’s everywhere I go.

Despite our recent distance,
Our way has now been cleared,
Now I think that we’ll be friends,
It won’t be as I feared.

As I said, “I’m sorry”,
She took on all the blame,
I wished she would forgive me,
And now she wants the same.

She took off all the hurt and pain,
And made me feel so glad,
Now depression’s gone away,
And nothing could be bad.
