Suddenly, he becomes clear,
The one I hate, the one I fear,
He blocks my pathway to the sun,
He blinds my stars, for he has won,
Though ignorance rules his fortunate soul,
Her heart now is his, free for him to control,
And once again I’m left alone,
In thoughts of her I wail and moan,
And call her name into the night,
And pray that god will ease my plight,
He wore a mask, his name unknown,
But now I see him on his throne,
His eyes a cold and icy blue,
And my rage returns anew,
For he can have what I cannot,
And he can end the plan I’ve wrought,
But she stands golden in the sun,
With thoughts of him that bleed and run,
And make my world come undone.
