I love her smile,
I love her laugh,
Everything I say and do,
Is done on her behalf.
Wish I could hold her,
Wish she could see,
That all my heart and soul is hers,
If only she’d love me.
But I can see him there again,
A thorn within my side,
In his absence I would reign,
On her love’s wings I’d fly.
But she’s not here,
For she is there,
And glowing true in my mind,
I need her like the air.
But I can see him there again,
A thorn within my side,
In his absence I would reign,
On her love’s wings I’d fly.
