Where do I go from here?
How do I fix this hurt?
Will you always draw me near?
Will I end up in the dirt?

Why do I have these feelings?
What causes this to be?
Could it be evil’s dealings?
Why are you all I see?

What has brought me where I stand?
Why was I born this way?
Why must I head my heart’s demand?
Why do I chase the pain?

Why these questions do I ask?
Why do I even try?
What has put me to this task?
Why do I wonder why?
