Consider the bird, That flies so high, Consider the word, And this I cry. Consider the Earth, Consider the light, Consider your birth, And think of the night. Consider the sun, Consider your dreams, Consider the one, And burst at the seams. Consider the true love, Consider the heart, Consider the white dove, That tears us apart. Consider the victim, Consider her pain, Consider God’s Dictum, And all is insane. Consider the heartless, Consider despair, Consider the artless, And blue eyes that stare. Consider the longing, That lives within me, Consider the one thing, That I strive to see. Consider your standing, The girl of my dreams, And your understanding, Is more than it seems.
