Why can’t they see,
The power they hold,
The beauty they possess,
Don’t they know,
What I would do,
With powers such as this,
For one sign of approval,
I’d die a painful death,
For the strength,
Their beauty holds,
I’d void my lungs of breath,
The control,
She could have,
Upon my very soul,
It scares me,
How much I would do,
To make her mine to hold,
I would play,
In traffic,
On her very whim,
And take my toaster,
In the bath,
If she would stay with him,
But they can’t see,
The power they have,
The power they could use,
I guess it’s better,
That they can’t,
This power they’d abuse.
