Behold the light, the
song is sung,
All men are right,
all battles won,
The art of truth,
the pain of death,
To face your youth,
breathe final breath.
To fall from grace,
to tear your soul,
Her gorgeous face,
or burning coal,
As beauty fails, and laughter dies,
No wind for sails, an angel cries.
To find the sun, to rock your world,
You journey’s done, your plan unfurled,
You’re the victim, you’re in pain,
The “great god’s” dictum, turned
insane.
Save your life, it takes some nerve,
Use the knife, or just observe,
Once you’re dead, there’s no more
fun,
It’s as they said, you are the
one.
A pawn of tear, of sacrifice,
As if your fears, would roll the
dice,
The dice of fate, a final roll,
To vindicate, and save your soul.
